Death Fast Resistance fighter Ileri Kizilaltun: “And the days began to walk”

İleri’s writing on the 50th day of his death fast…..

And the days began to walk. And they, that is, the days, made us. 

And we were born this way, that is, children of the days, inquirers, life seekers..

We want justice.. We want our right to a fair trial. We want our rights in prisons. We want sick prisoners to be treated outside.
I’m Ileri Kizilaltun, today I’m on a death fast for 50 days. Sibel is on her 289th day today. The days continue to walk. This is how we roll. 
We continue to walk with our hunger. With hope… with faith… with solidarity…
We march for justice, from seven to seventy we joined together…
And Sibel, at the forefront, we march. Sibel’s days are marching to death for Justice. Sibel pours hours, minutes and seconds into death. 

TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY NINE times the sun rose and TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY NINE times it set to rise again. 
Before this cycle happens again, today we want Sibel outside. 
People’s teacher Sibel Balaç should continue to teach the justice lesson outside, just like Gökhan. 
The days kept walking and so did we. We never stopped. 
Let’s shout once more on a new day of a new month, a new week: Release Sibel, Take a Step for Our Demands! 
Let’s achieve this with words, actions and solidarity. 
Because the days keep walking..
